MedTreks International is a women-owned, women-led adventure travel and medical education company based in Ashland, Oregon. Founded by Rogue Valley nurse practitioner Ari Rasori, MedTreks was created from a simple belief: continuing education should be inspiring, meaningful, and take healthcare professionals beyond the walls of the hospital. Today, MedTreks designs boutique Continuing Medical Education (CME/CE) adventures, conferences, retreats, and wellness experiences for physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other healthcare professionals in destinations around the world.

While our adventures span across all seven continents, our roots remain firmly planted in Southern Oregon. We are proud to offer local Wilderness First Aid (WFA) courses, internationally recognized wilderness medicine certifications, and customized medical and outdoor safety training for businesses, schools, outdoor organizations, guides, and community groups. Our practical, hands-on courses equip participants with the confidence and skills to respond to emergencies in remote and resource-limited environments.

Although wilderness medicine education and boutique CME adventures for healthcare professionals are at the heart of MedTreks, our decades of experience designing journeys around the world allow us to create custom retreats, educational programs, and group travel experiences for organizations of all kinds. Whether planning a leadership retreat, nonprofit expedition, university program, or corporate getaway, we craft personalized itineraries that blend  curated experiences with seamless logistics and a strong commitment to safety, creating opportunities for teams to learn, connect, and share unforgettable experiences together.
